Hi there. Thank you for considering supporting our work at TRVST. Since we started out back in 2016, we've been busy inspiring positive change for people and the planet. We've big plans to do a lot more of it, and any contribution you might be happy to make, large or small, would be hugely appreciated to further our mission.
Producing great content is not cheap, and while we receive some money from advertising, we also rely on the generosity of our readers to help us cover our costs. FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Any contributions will primarily go toward our running costs. These include paying for our writers, editors, maintenance functions, and technology costs such as hosting and developer fees.
We have big plans to do so much more. Once these core costs are covered, we want to expand to grow our impact, build some cool tools, link projects and resources, and so much more.
If at all possible, please consider making a monthly contribution, no matter how small. This aids our forecasting and budgeting, and knowing that we have a certain amount coming in each month really helps.
No. We’re a limited company registered in the UK (currently operating under our founding parent company). This means that any contributions are most likely not tax deductible in your local country. However, if you’re making a larger contribution, it may be worth checking as tax laws can vary by location. As such, we also pay applicable taxes on contributions as if they were in exchange for services (think of it as paying a small membership fee for access to our content, although we don’t restrict anything to contributors).
We value any contribution you can make and commit to doing right by any contributor. In short, this means ensuring funds are spent to grow our impact rather than line our pockets.
Regarding trust, we invite you to review our content, team, and supporting mission and values. If any of this doesn’t sit right, please don’t feel obligated to contribute. If you like what you see, we’d be immensely grateful for any contribution, small or large, and promise to use it to grow our impact.

However, we also appreciate that there are numerous other charities out there that need help and support (in fact, we’ve plans to help support them too!). As such, and in tune with our aim to scale impact, we completely understand if you feel your funds might be best spent elsewhere.

When you signed up, you should have received an email to create an account with our processing partner, donor box. If you have an account, you should also be able to log in and make any amendments. If you don’t have an account or email or have lost your details, no problem, please reach out, and we’ll make sure we sort it out for you.
SSL secures the donor box on this page. Both ourselves (TRVST) and our payment management partner (Donor Box) don’t store any of your payment details such as credit card numbers, which Stripe, a leading payment processor, processes.
We’ve carefully selected both as leading providers, and you can read about their security procedures here and here. The only personal details we store at TRVST are your name and email address if you signed up for our newsletter when you completed your contribution. If you’d like any of your details changed or deleted, please reach out, and we’ll be sure to help. Our privacy policy has more details.

Whereas we don’t want to be ungrateful, we’re a really small team and typically don’t have the bandwidth to support additional contributions.
