Danny, Simon and Jehan started Who Gives A Crap when they learnt that 2.3 billion people across the world don't have access to a toilet. That's roughly 40% of the global population which that around 289,000 children under five die every year from diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. Or, to put it another way, one child every two minutes. Having successfully raised $50,000 on IndieGoGo, they now sell recycled toilet paper and donate 50% of their profits to provide toilets in the developing world.
