Ei Piwnt Rhi Zan

Although Rhi Zan has a Masters in Electronics Engineering and started her career out in the engineering field, her passion for peace and helping her community led her to do something completely outside of her field.

She started working a projects as a Managing Director on a project called The Third Story Project and turned it to a nonprofit social
enterprise from the volunteer group by creating children's books with positive messages and distributing it through the whole country.

She has been filling the gap between children's literature and engaging youths from different communities. In addition to her Third Story activities, she has been working as an educator for entrepreneurs and as a social enterprise consultant at the British Council in Myanmar.

Besides that, she has been volunteering as a trainer and facilitator for youths from different townships working together with YSEALI Alumni Network. She is one of the founding members of the White Sharing Donation Group and Social Enterprise Development Association of Myanmar.

She is a winner of the Young Social Entrepreneur Award (2016), Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund Award (2016) and Mission-Driven Alumni Outreach Program Award (2017). She is a member of the Myanmar Engineering Society, the United Nation Alliance of Civilization (Youth), Yangon Based Youth Volunteers Network and Italian-Myanmar Friendship Giuseppe Malpeli Association.
